Linear, Natural and Exponential Growth

Linear, Natural and Exponential Growth

Here are three ways of ‘growing’ over time:

The blue line shows linear growth which is gradual.

The pink curve shows natural growth which has its inbuilt limit.

The yellow curve shows exponential growth which is slow at first, rises sharply and, eventually, is limitless.

There can’t possibly be any ‘sustainable growth’ as long as interest is compounded upon interest.
