The current “ill” can be traced back to Regan and his running up the national dept and increasing government after he’d promised not to do that. We came back some under Clinton, his years ending with the dept going down and surplus in the treasury. But then Bush came and the wild spending began again, the national dept skyrocketed, and he cut taxes just when we needed more not less money coming to pay for the war.

There is a HUGE difference between ‘personal credit’ and ‘national credit’.

In the latter, the state is used to control its citizens.

For the repayment of debt is legally enforcable by employees of the state who are paid by ‘money’ that is created as interest-bearing credit.
